Thinking about exploring your life a little more? Book a discovery call and take the first step towards greater self-awareness and emotional well-being.

Discovery Call

£25

Deciding to come to therapy can be daunting. But you won’t know how it feels unless you take the first step. The discovery call or Zoom is partly for you to decide whether you feel comfortable with me. Sometimes you just get a feeling … and it’s perfectly OK not to like me!

However, if you do end up working with me, the cost of the discovery call will be deducted from your first session.

Deciding to undertake counselling is scary - not least because you are required to trust another person with some of your hardest, most difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

But those very thoughts, feelings and behaviours affect all areas of your life - your body, your mind, your relationships and your work. We all find ourselves responding ‘out of character’ and wondering why. If this is a repeated issue, or you really can’t look yourself in the mirror, it is worth unpacking with somebody.

Once this is done, you can gain new insight and move forward with a different way of viewing the future and of inhabiting your life. Most clients say it is worth braving that first step!

Kinds of issues addressed:

  • low self-esteem, stress, anxiety and depression

  • regaining identity, life transitions, grief and loss

  • work and relationship difficulties, family issues

  • long term illness, chronic fatigue

  • trauma, childhood and or emotional abuse

Supervision

£70

I have a Supervision diploma in integrative practice meaning I work comfortably across different counselling modalities. I am also happy to work creatively, should that be useful to you. I can work monthly or bi-weekly depending on your needs.

Using the seven-eyed model, I work relationally to help you explore all aspects of your clients, their families and your interactions with the material that presents. I offer supportive supervision, ensuring that you feel confident to work with your clients.

Having been a lecturer in counselling, I can offer unique support to trainees and to qualified counsellors alike. I am interested in you, the person, not just in your work! Be prepared to have some fun, too.

Spirituality in Counselling

I am trained to work sensitively and safely with issues of spirituality in therapy. I have experience with clients who have suffered adverse religious experiences, such as spiritual abuse at home or in places of worship, or come from toxic religious childhoods.
